Hail!

Garage sale down the street from me was first hit of the day. Sega Dreamcast
with several games/memory card/2 or 3 controllers etc. She said not sure if
it works we just unpacked it last night. I will take $2 for it. Umm ok. :)

I love community garage sales. Just watching the people can be interesting.
Although getting up early is killer for me and coming home empty handed
makes me a bit frumpy.

Today was one of the 'big' community sales which I walk the entire route
(has to be close to 5 miles total). You would think it was an entrance to an
amusement park there are a TON of people! and of course moms that think its
ok to bring all their kids and it never ends they always stop right in the
entrance of the garage with the kid in stroller or wagon then stand there...
umm hello you got people behind you. Some of the garages had up to 10 people
in them.

Breakdown:
One of the 1st sales: Def Vendetta? PS2 - $2.50 (complete not frisbee/video
store condition)

Half way through - pretty dry... like how the collector guy had common Atari
games for $3 you know ET/Combat/Pac-Man

The can of Pepsi... hey its a community sale monopoly at the concession
stand... $1 but it was cold.

Then there it was.... whispering my name... Atari 2600 in case with 35
games: $40 well lets look at the game selection. Fathom yeah cool never seen
that in the last 10 years collecting (except for the guy at flea market that
wanted $35 for it) and I open the case... WHOA - Subterranea !!! I been
looking for that forever! I asked if it was negotiable. She said well it
didn't sell last year (I missed the sales there last year) so whatever you
think. I gave her $20. I very rarely find classic games in the wild anymore
so that was a kodak moment.

Found a few SNES for $1 I didn't have.

Odd of all the sales only seen a few NES games...

Like to find some more beat up pinball machines...

Was a good day!
Erik
