Multi-Thread for this subject isn't useless. CPU, Graphics Card, Other forums are most frequently visited sections in this forum, and many people visit only one of these sections exclusively.

I also actually use mozilla. But then again. IE has a much CLEANER interface, and the nice google toolbar (that shows buttons distinctly unlike the firefox one). Also I have fingerprinting system on my comp that puts in passwords to websites. Sadly works only for IE. I use mozilla when i gotta view pages that have greek symbols. How many of us have actually been a victim of vulnerability in IE anyways ? So I am a hybrid user, slightly more inclined towards IE due to my biometrics thingy.

 <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/priyajeet/fing.jpg" target="_new"><i><font color=red>Very funny, Scotty.</font color=red><font color=blue> Now beam down my clothes.</font color=blue></i></A>

Reply to priyajeet

I don't like mozilla suite, it feels bloated. But firefox interface is very clean, IMO, cleaner than IE. If you install "Googlebar" extension for Firefox, then you can have a nice google toolbar clone. You don't need Google Toolbar's pop-up blocking feature in FF. In fact, lately many pop-ups could bypass google toolbar, but I haven't seen a single unwanted pop-up since I started using FF. If you install "IEview" extension, then you can send links to IE directly if the page doesn't view correctly with FF.

Now I use IE only for sites that doesn't work with Firefox, and there's only one site that I regularly visit is in my IE only list.

Reply to Spitfire_x86

yeah i use the googlebar too. But then again, the googles version is much better looking and neat.
Well one thing i like of IE is the integratibility. It integrates with windows. if i m looking in a folder - say my videos. and i find a movie in their of which i want to see plot/reviews, i can type the web address right there in the address bar, rather than opeing IE or firefox.

 <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/priyajeet/fing.jpg" target="_new"><i><font color=red>Very funny, Scotty.</font color=red><font color=blue> Now beam down my clothes.</font color=blue></i></A>

Reply to priyajeet

Then you need some IE, but I don't think too many people use IE in that way

One Q: Does anyone have the version they're about to launch in 8 days?
It seems like many already have it, so I'm wondering what the fuss is about.

1.0 RC1 is not final.

I didn't know that Firefox users have increased a lot in THGC recently. Then I would start this countdown later.

But is the version on the website, that is being ready to be released, one that you users don't have?

The version that is being ready to be released is 1.0 (final, not release candidiate, not preview release). How can anybody have that before it gets released?

well more than mozilla for sure during its release. Or else you wudnt go into amazon sales rank # 1. And wont be advertized by 100s of sites, and wont come out on CNN and other news channels
Theres nothing new coming out in firefox, maybe a few bug fixes - which next few days like IE, vulnerabilities will start popping up.

Doom 3 sucks, Halo 2 cant live up to the hype.

Some of us (teh 1337) are playing Cs Source.

Netscape 7 is mozilla, and you get AOL bloatware as bonus.

Latest version of googlebar is not available at mozilla extension website yet. You can find latest at googlebar website.

I've heard that from v1.0, extensions won't break with version upgrades. All v1.0 plug-ins should work till v2.0
