T5, purchased in June 05, new palm WIFI

Two Questions:

#1 WIFI seems to be working properly, loaded latest drivers, Status Green
connecting to SBC DSL

When I try to connect to any web page I get this message:

"The page you requested cannot be displayed. The web site you are trying
to access may be temporarily unavailable or the URL you entered cannot
be resolved. Please check that you correctly entered the URL or try
again later."

Any suggestions or recommendations, any help would be appreciated?

#2 Is palm tech support completely incompetent? All I have received are
trivial suggestions as to how to solve or address this problem.

Thanks

Rob

Palm technical support is outsourced, to people who don't have a Palm
themselves, no understanding of it, and are only reading scripted
replies. If the problem doesn't fit a scripted reply /and/ the customer
utters the right key phrases that triggers the correct response /and/
the support person is good at searching using the right keywords, it's
bloody useless.
Like all other systems of this sort, it looks wonderful on paper. It's
cheap and the metrics will show a very high rate of solved cases. The
problem is that a customer going "nevermind" and hanging up is called a
success.
