I'm using a WinXP (Eng, with sp2). Recently, I tried some Asian-
language softwares and found that many(not all) Chinese/Japanese
characters displayed as question marks. However, when I'm browsing
Asian-language website, everything displays correctly.
And I tried to google it, but never found a good answer. Does someone
know any effective solution?
Thx, Jacky.

Hi Jacky,

When you install and use Asian-font software, you have to change the
settings of Regional Settings in the Control Panel. For example, if you want
to install and run a Traditional Chinese program, you have to first go to
the Control Panel >> Regional and Language Options >> Advanced tab >> set
the language for non-Unicode programs to "Chinese (Taiwan)" or "Chinese
(Hong Kong SAR)" and reboot the Windows. This should correct your problem.

Note: Of course, if you want to run Japanese program, change the language to
Japanese, and so on...

Regards,
Henry
