Using Tungsten E2. Is there a difference between the Palm multimedia card
and a Secure Digital card, other than the Palm costs twice as much and does
not have a slide switch to protect it from being written on? -Is there a
difference in use/function?

Thanks

There are minor technical differences, but no difference in actual
function. Get the cheapest card you can find for most uses, which means
SD, which are actually more capable than MMC. I haven't even seen any MMC
cards for sale in some time.

It is alleged that Cindy claimed:

Not unless you want to write-protect the card (slide the switch) or use
DRM protected files. If these are not an issue, then go with whatever
is most cost effective.
