As to 'news' coming out about any switch to 0.13, well there's already info on the net, like at Chip Online, and I don't see a press release from TSMS(C). So if the 9600 is indeed 0.13 like we read then ATI is already there.
What is likely happening at ATI is cranking the living daylights out of the 0.15 process in the 9800, and then 'under-clocking' the 9600, and introducing it as a mid-range card so as to not require the Tornado-Tunnel fan on the GPU like the FX.
Now THAT'S the way to perfect the 0.13 process without switching to it EXCLUSIVELY first.
Nvidia has no other route.

Even called the underclocked R9600P (which I now own and can OC the crap out of). 
Ah when we were young a naive. It's funny looking back at that thread. I definitely seem a little more rough around the edges still trying to prove myself with perhaps a little 'tude (at least that hasn't changed 
). Heck I even disagreed with DaveP, and this was before GW's support.

OMG YOU ARE INSANE!.....in all honesty, I tried to show off on a skateboard today. Right about the time I claimed 'I used to be sooo good' I went down
They didnt have ollies and kick flips back in my day. Skateboards were alot bigger too(Sims Bowlrider 12"s wide)

I wanted to change the title to the "THGC Graphics Card Buyer's Guide" to "THGC Graphics Card Buyer's Guide & FAQ's. Then you could add the FAQ,s to that tread & kill 2 birds with one stone. I think a good title could accomplish it. But that's just what I thought.

We don't have faq's on this board. There are some boards that do have them. I'd be like the buying guide here.
