All right guys.. I'm having a tough time looking for PDA reviews, most sites I find have two or three PDA's reviewed. Does anyone know of a site or even have recommendations for one?

Mainly I'm looking for a Pocket PC that has WLAN built in and will be able to handle a few games. I was going to get an MP3 player but I have 400 spare bucks laying around (instead of getting the amd FX 51 I'm just going to get the amd 64 3200+,) and i was just going to get a massive memory card for it. This way I can even play some video if I want to and all that good stuff the comes with PDA's. I didnt even look at the Palm pocket area because they just don't seem to fit my needs. So far, i found one i liked but its a little bit over my budget, the hp iPAQ h4155 pocket pc . I did find one review site but I don't like it because it seems geared for and dumbed down the average consumer, that would be Cnet.com.

Any help anyone?

maybe not really "review" sites but maybe can help:

Personally, I've been in the same hunt but trying to figure out which way to go ... a "smartphone" (ie, Treo 600 b/c of built-in thumboard or a SPV type...)

But, lately, I'm more thinking of something like the NEW HP 4350 (as seen HERE

I really like it b/c of the built in KB/Thumboard ... and could do Bluetooth and Wi-Fi...

that zdnet is the same as cnet so you might have seen those already ... I just googled and found those others too so I don't have any experience with them except for surfing on MobilePlanet some.

Thanks for quick reply. Im glad im in the same boat as someone else is. It seems like PDA's are so well received but at the same time swept under the carpet.

Looking at the HP 4350, the built in keyboard makes it seem pretty large.

Yeah, it is larger... but I wanted it for easy data input (ie, e-mail etc.). I had a Blackberry 7230 and loved the thumboard and the way it handled e-mail but for everything else it was not as functional for me (phone was ok but could have been better). Anyway, my choices so far are:

1) Treo 600 (based on Palm OS5 ...) or
2) some sort of PDA w/Bluetooth/Wi-Fi and a BT enabled phone

so, the Treo 600 is a nice device - I like it a lot. However, I'd really like the ms smartphone os (03) or the pocket pc 03 OS. But, nothing like the Treo 600 exists on the MS platform YET ... coming close but they don't include thumboards which I want (or think I want/need!!).

good luck... report back what you do, i'm interested.

I think I made my decision...I'll probably get the 4350. The only other PDA i ever used was an old Palm Pilot but that was just for simple data input, so im not to sure if i need a keyboard or not for it. Come holiday time, they are bound to have some deal somewhere for one of those or something similiar to it so thats when I'll probably get it.

Case closed, thanks for the help.
