Hi,
I am trying to find a way to run windows media player
from the next room. I have a dell desktop running WinXP
and do not yet have the handheld so suggestions on that
are appreciated.

If I copy all my DVD's to Divx, run an s-vid cable to my
attic from my computer room, and connect that to a
ceiling mounted projector in the living room. My entire
goal is to from the living room, get a movie to play off
my desktop, as well as pause, fast forward etc. If
possible I would like to take control of the desktop from
the handheld.

Thank you for any help you can offer!
Joe

Well, assuming your handheld runs XP also, and it has a wireless connection
to your router, couldn't you use Remote Desktop Connection via XP? Once
you're attached, it's like you're at the other system's console.
