I've been in the PPC camp for awhile now, but am rather tired of the
instability of my iPaq. Is there a Palm that has both wi-fi and Bluetooth?
I use both of them and would like to have it on the Palm also.

Thanks in advance.

Michael

If you can still find a Euro-model Sony Clie TH-55, it has both.
Mine's an American model, with only wi-fi. Yes, they've been
discontinued. But they're still arguably the best Palm OS PDA in
existence. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

There is none with both, but the Zire 72 is being bundled with the Wi-Fi card.

The Clie UX50 also has both (and is also discontinued, as are all Clies
after Sony left the PDA market). Unlike the TH55, it's a clamshell
construction, with a quite usable keyboard.

Anyhow, if you want to get *any* Palm device, my advice is to act now.
I am not too certain about the future of Palm and PalmOS at this point.

I agree on the UX50, but with PalmOne showing 7 quarters of steady growth,
around 300 million dollars in cash and short term investments, and on the
order of a billion dollars a year in revenues, they're hardly in trouble.
PalmSource is a smaller company that was showing heavy losses but seems to
be recovering, but even if it wasn't, PalmOne has enough cash to buy it
outright should the need arise.

So I don't see much point in crying doom and gloom about the future of Palm.
