they pretty much work the same. just go for a logitech, microsoft, or any good peripherals brand.

I use the MX700 cordless optical with my notebook. It's great and all, but the problem is the 'docking station'/charger. It is so big and awkward to pack. It would be way cooler if the mouse could just be blue tooth, or at least use a small USB transmitter.
