driver order problem

Hi , I have a major headache . I recently reinstalled windows on my work box because of instability . ( Several times !)) Unfortuanately it seems to be worse and I can't figure out what the problem is !! ( AAAaargh - Dreadlines looming ), though I'm pretty sure it's driver related .

Please advise on the order , or drivers I should install if you are gifted enough to understand these things clearly .
Below is my hardware and existing drives I have installed .

Gigabyte 7dxr bios ver. 8
AMD 1.33
GeForce 3 Nvidia latest drivers
DDR 266 Ram
Creative 5.1 Live Creative drivers
Modem on USB Latest supplied drivers
Aopen CD writer Aopen drivers
1 * 5400 rpm 40 Gig harddrive with C , D partition IDE 1
1 * 7200 rpm 60 Gig harddrive with 2 storage partitions IDE0

Windows 2000 with service pack 3
LargePageMinimun for AMD win 2k happiness
Miniport 5.33 drivers
AMD filter and ide drivers ( for AMD 761 and VIA chipset )
(AMD driver pack _130)

The problem existed mainly on Maya software and manifests itself in entire system freezes - often - 12 times a day !!

Please help if you have suggestions . I am quite willing to rebuild my system if necessary .
