I have been shoping around for notebooks and I found some places that actually have notebook equiped with P4EE CPU!
Here are few of the place i found about that:
<A HREF="http://pctorque.com/8890.php" target="_new">http://pctorque.com/8890.php</A>
<A HREF="http://www.powernotebooks.com/specs/Sager/5680specs.php" target="_new">http://www.powernotebooks.com/specs/Sager/5680specs.php</A>
<A HREF="http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/54/34211.html" target="_new">http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/54/34211.html</A>

I think most of them actually have 7200 RPM HD. Those notebook would be very powerful, but I bet they would eat up battery very quickly. Not mention those things would be a bit heavy and probably need alot of cooling. Wonder who actually spend $$ to get one those instead of P-M? Guessing since P4EE is out in small quality, that really isn't a issue though. But sure interesting to see P4EE put into notebooks!

P4-EE is ideal for 1 hour battery life notebooks.

WTF are you talking about! There is nothing wrong with buying P4EE in notebook or in desktop. If you are complaining about battery life, just carry couple of extra batteries with you! There isn't any problem with that unless you are really weak :P P4EE is the top CPU you can possibly get in notebook sector now! Just because you don't have the $$ to buy, don't complain about it.

What about weight? and heat?

Like said wieght only matter if you are a weakling :P Heat isn't too much to complain about unless you can stand a bit of heat! Giving those up for high performance is the way to go.

How do you figure?? I'd much rather have a 1.1GHz ULV P-M...as for a desktop system, a P4EE, FX-5# or Opteron 248s would be nice.

Don't do it man, those things are unstable as hell ! I suggest you pick up the biggest heaviest notebook you can find, or better yet, a desktop cause I already lost two of them because when fell of the table. Really, really unstable.

I am severly limited in what my mind can perceive.

it sounds Like dumb luck in your part. Why would you have part of a Laptop hanging off the table. I can understand a child seeing the Laptop think it one of his toys and Ops.

I will be buying a laptop P4 ee. With dual hard drives. And 2gb of ram. http://www.xtremenotebooks.com.

I m working on one hard drive just MP3 70 gigs total. And the other hard drive is windows and Games.

If any one have other laptops that has three bays two for hard drives and one for dvdrw/cdrw And runs on 3.2 ee L3 2 cache. Post them please.

One Idea I have is use http://www.pro-star.com/index.cfm And http://www.xtremenotebooks.com. To build my laptop.

I dont see why youd need a p4EE in a notebook since the point of a notebook is for mobial use. Im sure anything with a p4EE will be heavy and low on battery life. If you need a p4EE why not just set up a mini pc set up like ina cube case. Its still rather portable. But i guess if just have the money to spend, i dont guess the rest matters much lol.

Wow, someone here is actually buying a P4EE notebook...

So trooper that sound funny. Lugging Mini tower and screen that dont work in the car. Oh ya you could get a genrator. Dude how dumb can you be.

And your saying low battery Life well if you run it full speed I can understand that. Most high tech Notbooks run around 2.5 Hours. And some Notebooks can have two batterys.

lol thanks for the warm compliments. What I was saying was that if your going to spend 1k for a cpu, then youd want to get components thats are also high end and fit taht price range. Ina notebook would couldnt get a 10k raptor drive, or a motherbaord with the performance or features taht could beat out a desktop version. My point is, if your wnaitng to spend so much on a cpu for a notebook , obviously youd want the best components to go along with it. Of course itll be the fastes cpu for a notebook around in most areas, so if you just looking for that, then fine thats great, youll enjoy it. Im just saying most people would not need or want soemhting liek that. Id love to get soemhting like that if i could get some other things with it.

If you get a P4 EE notebook, make sure it's using ATI mobility 9600 or FX5600go graphics and 17" size LCD screen. Battery life should be shorter, but that's why they come with AC adaptor.

actaully he would need a car adapter since aparrently he uses it in his car. i never ehard of a notebook draining the car battery but maybe something like that could under full load lol.

Reply to trooper11

Well there a few thing u can do. One or two year they will be fuelcell Setup for all Notbooks. And it would run 5 Hours or better. Or the car adapter. Another one. And some Notbooks your able to have two battery in it.

And the settlement Yes I should be getting one soon. Due to a accident I had 4 Years ago. But most of the money going into something like Ibonds. So I get extra Money each Month.

I have look at alot of Notebooks But the problem I had was the space on them. I needed 160gb of space 70 gig which would just be MP3. Windows and a few Games. And they dont have 140gig hard drives yet. Unless you buy two 70 gig drives. Then the small power saving Laptops two slots. So dvd/cdrw and a hard drive.

And Looking at the P4ee and knowing you can lower the cpu mhz to save power. And I have two goal on this Laptop. One is to have it when it On battery Power will it be the same speed as my computer at home. Amd 1800+ 1.5gb of ram 520 gig of hard drive.

And I also Look at the Notbooks going ok 2.8ghz will save me money. But later on I would buy a P4ee for the same laptop. So $300 for 2.8ghz chip and 3.2ee $600 to $800. Let say I wait for the p4ee drop to $350 or so. This would be after I get the laptop. So $300 +350 $650 is about the same as the P4ee now.

So I m looking at everything.

One more thing I m working on getting a New desktop. But I rather wait untel the 64 bit chips have 64 bit OS other then Linux. And have it run close to Intel 4.0 ghz or Amd 4000+
