From what I can tell, I need a Windows 7 driver for my Cannon printer on our home network for it to work.
I have the driver downloaded, but it won't open. It appears to be a 64-bit compatability issue, but I have Windows 7 Ultimate, which has a 32-bit and a 64-bit file folder FOR compatability issues. Just can't get it to work whatsoever.
I try to run it, and I an error message that says, "wherethefileislocatedblahblahblah.exe, is not a valid Win32 application.
In the installation file, Right click, and select "run as administrator"

The O.S. is x64? or 32. And give me the details of the printer, i mean, the reference of the printer.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. There is a ProgramFiles, 64-bit, and a ProgramFiles (x86), 32-bit, which is for stuff that doesn't work with 64-bit. This .exe should simply open, but I have tried saving it to both program files locations.
The printer is a Canon Photo Printer Pixma iP5200 Series.
delete the current driver, and delete the printer. Install the driver and after the installation is complet, connect the printer.
