HI some one was messing with the home pc and now when my wife logs on the vdu display is upside down help!!!!!

If you have an ATI card, then launch Catalyst Control Center. In the Display Manager section ensure that the Rotation field is set to "Standard Landscape".

nVidia's control panel should have something similar.
