will the vista business to windows 7 professional upgrade work on the vgn sz 480. Will any sony features be lost?

Should work just fine. What sort of features are we talking about? Sony pre-installled features or things like various buttons and such? I did an upgrade from vista to W7 on my toshiba laptop that has all sorts of extras, i.e. buttons for volume, play, rewind, etc... and everything worked just fine. To be sure though, I would contact Sony support.
