Hi everyone,
I have an old Acer Aspire 5000 that when I try to start it up, it goes past the Acer logo screen and then just stays on a black screen with the blinking white line in the top left corner. After staying like this for a few minutes, the machine just turns off.
I have tried using an XP disc to fix the boot record, but can't even get into the recovery console as the machine also turns off before the XP setup has loaded.
Anyone have any ideas?
