I have the old front load SB live card with optical, 1/8 in input for mic and headphones. i love it! not compatible with my new computer.. what is the comparable upgrade to this old card?

I know many people like their integrated audio on the mother board, buying a sound card is a good option. For $30.00 to $100.00 dollars you can get a good card. It depends on what you are using it for. I do like cards with hardware acceleration.

 

Creative, Turtle Beach, M-Audio,Asus make good sound cards, just shop around.
