I have recently bought a nice surround sound receiver and a great pair of speakers. The system is hooked up to my computer. I REALLY enjoy the quality of sound that comes through. It's just wonderful. I listen to music more often than anything, and this creates a problem for me! Only the front two speakers are used while playing back music due to the fact that almost all music now is not encoded with surround sound. I am looking for a way to duplicate the front right and left channels to the back left and back right. Does anyone know of a way to do this? I have looked high and low and can't seem to find a thing!

Question: Are you trying to duplicate the front two channels, or upmix to 5.1? Most sound cards/recievers offer Dolby Pro Logic (or CMSS3D in the case of Creative sound cards) to upmix 2.0 to 5.1.

Actually either of those would be absolutely wonderful! I have a sound blaster audigy SE card in the computer. Could you explain to me how I would enable that feature?

hmm...the Audigy uses CMSS3D and should be avaliable from the driver control panel.
