Green band polymer of a TRS connector

Hello,
I am a chemistry major and have to do an analysis of the green bands of the trs connector of some ear buds. I assume that it is some kind of polymer. If you could point me to a reference that would tell me this it would make my life much easier. I don't have much room for error as there is not a lot of material there. Here is my sample:
