Hi everyone,

My friend uses HP Pavilion 9500, when I use her laptop and press Power button to startup. The lights of power, series media buttons are indicated; its fan is run.

First, I still get in Vista but its graphic driver is not recognised.

Then, I startup it again. It shows up all lights on it whereas its screen is black and I cann't see anything. Specially, the temp of laptop is very hot after 30mins.

Could you please help me to solve this problem?

Thank you.

It's a problem that certian models of hp pavallions have. They put together an extended warrenty program to cover all costs of fixing it- including shipping! Check hp's website for more details. I'm currently in Costa Rica for 2 months so I'm working to find a solution I can do myself oversees-- if I find one I'll post again.
