Hi,

I am buying a new laptop, and need your opinions on what would be a good buy. My budget is $1000. I am in college, and I want one that is portable, but also one that can satisfy my gaming needs. Obviously, for $1000, I can't expect to get the top of line graphics card, processor, etc. but I would like a mid range-upper level graphics card that can handle current games on the market (Crysis, CoD4, etc.) and will be able to play future games. I have come across a few laptops that look like a good buy, but I need your help to decide which one to purchase and/or any other laptops you can suggest. Currently, these are the big three:

1) HP Pavilion Dv6t Quad Edition Series (15.6 inches). It comes with
-windows 7 64-bit
-Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-720QM Processor (1.6GHz, 6MB L2 Cache, 1333MHz FSB)
-4gb ram (DDR3)
-320gb hard drive (7200 rpm)
-1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 230M

2) HP Pavilion Dv6t Notebook (15.6 inches) . It is somewhat different than the first one. It comes with
-windows 7 64-but
-Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53Ghz
-4gb ram (DDR3)
-320gb hard drive (7200 rpm)
- 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650

3) Sony Vaio CW Series (14.1 inches). It comes with
-windows 7 64-bit
-Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor P8700 (2.53GHz)
-4gb ram (DDR3)
-320gb hard drive (5400 rpm)
-NVIDIA® GeForce® GT230M GPU

I like the first option because it has a quad core processor (which seems like something nice to have). The second one has (in my opinion) the best graphics card of the three. And the last one was appealing because of its power and portability (14.1 inches). Obviously, all three of these are pretty powerful machines, but I want your opinions on which one would be the best to buy, in terms of gaming. Portability isnt a primary concern, and neither is battery life. I also want to stick with the 14-16 inch screens, nothing bigger. Hopefully, I can make a decision soon and get this over with. Thanks for your help.
