I am after a wireless router so I am looking at all the reviews.

All the magazines etc seem to rate linksys, BUT all the user ratings seem to to be terrible, who should I believe ?

I have great luck with Linksys product nothing to say. Worked with some D-Link and they where solid...

My guess is that there are so many linksys device/user that you mainly hear from customer having problems when the vast majority dont have any problems.
I could be wrong though.

I like my wrt54g and theres the TrueMimo one(probly to expansive but whatever)wrt54GX

Asus P4P800DX, P4C 2.6ghz@3.25ghz, 2X512 OCZ PC4000 3-4-4-8, MSI 6800Ultra stock, 2X30gig Raid0

I'd get a linksys wrt54g. Those things are rock solid and I've never has a problem with one.
I dont know that I would go for one of those mimo things yet unless you plan on using only linksys mimo cards on your computers. Mimo isn't really proven technology yet and its compatability is sort of shotty. I haven't had much luck connecting anything but mimo cards to it, not even regular b/g linksys cards would keep a solid connection to it.
