$309 quad-core desktop computer VS. building my own box on NewEgg

http://www.frys.com/product/5801953 - $309 + extras

AMD Phenom 9150e processor
4GB DDR2 800 RAM
500GB HD
Super Multi DVD
Vista HP 64 (eligible for 7 HP 64 upgrade)
built in wireless G (my router is a G, haven't gone N yet)
built-in 6150SE graphics
comes with a spare mouse and keyboard

NewEgg box - $628

AMD Athlon II X4 620 processor
Kingston 4GB DDR2 800 RAM
Samsung F3 500GB HD
Super Multi DVD
7 HP 64
gigabit ethernet on the ASUS EVO 790X board I picked
Sparkle HD4670 1GB video card
450W Antec PSU
CoolerMaster Elite 360 case
no mouse or keyboard

extras for the HP box - $104 ($89 after MIR)

450W Antec PSU $49
Zotac 9500GT 1GB card $55 (and has $15 MIR)

So the price difference is $215 after the HP gets the PSU and video upgrades. The difference is the choice of OS and whether it has built-in wireless or not. And the price. And the HP is cheaper. And...shoot...is it worth dealing with a proprietary box to save $200?
