My computer will not recognize my video card or any cds.This has happened before.It then started to recognize the photo card but not the discs.Its an hp pavillion with windows xp.Im not getting a prompt asking how I would like to import the photos anymore .I tried hooking the camera up directly and it doesnt show any device being hooked up.Im sure its just a setting.Any help?

I think you mean a SD card, not video card? They look like this

Insert a CD or plug in the SD card, go to my computer, they should show up in there.
