I have an HP Pavilion a1650e that started to beep once every 5 seconds. I recently had the fan replaced but the fan is running. I have tried a different keyboard, mouse and monitor. When it stops running, if I wait a day, it has started again to work. It works for a few days and then starts the beeping again. Any ideas?

Give this a look. It will help you diagnose the issue. Is it continuous beeps every 5 seconds or does it quit after say 2 or 3 beeps?
