Better for OC

Ok folks, need some opinions here from experienced OCers. which of these DIMMS has better OC potential?

I am planning on running amd winchester 3200 on DFI Lan party UT NF4 Ultra-D mainboard with Forton Blue Storm 500watt PSU and Sapphire radeon x850xt pci-e gpu. Thanks for the incoming advice

Well unfortuneatly I've pushed my budget on this thing to the limit (maybe a lil beyond ). If <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=20-146-890&depa=1" target="_new"> this </A> is the module anandtech tested, hopefully <A HREF="http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductdesc.asp?DEPA=0&description=20-227-204&CMP=OTC-pr1c3watch&ATT=System+Memory" target="_new"> this </A> will perform somewhere near as well, although I can't afford that 4000+ cpu; I have to go with the 3200+ winchester instead. Combined with a sapphire ati x850xt (non plat ed), I should be looking pretty good. We'll just have to wait and see. **sigh** Why didn't I have my tax return direct deposited?

Take a long hard look at a Celeron "D" chip rig. At least you'll be sure of what you DON'T want.

I only have the 2x256 module of the XBL's but I see nothing wrong with them.

280x9 at 2.5,3,3,5
prime stable for 4 hours yesterday.

I just don't know if I have the balls to risk getting bad RAM or something. I'd rather pay more and be assured of what I'm getting than gamble and get something that is inferior to what I wanted

now have my 2x256 PDP XBL at 310 2.5,4,4,7

seems the longer I burn it in the tighter and faster it will go.

Gonna try for the 320-325 range today.

310x8 at 1.45vcore 2.8vdimm

well I didn't get higher but tightened it down to 2.5,4,3,7.

Should be able to get 2.5,4,3,6.

debating on whether to try 2.5,5,5,... and see what she'll do.

Usually anything above 2.7ghz needs +.25v on the core at least, and that's getting into heating issues.

Interesting reading. So <A HREF="http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_el_ddr_pc_3700_dual_channel_gold_rev_3" target="_new"> This </A> is the RAM they used in that anandtech review. It's a bit less expensive then <A HREF="http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/memory/ocz_el_ddr_pc_3200_dual_channel_gold_vx" target="_new"> This </A> that I was planning on buying, but which one will OC better? I would think the one I was going to buy would be better, and its only like $20 more, but what do you guys think?
