I have a netbook Aspire One. On the bottom left hand corner of the keyboard are these two icons.
One is for the battery and lights up when charging. But there is one on the right that keeps blinking. It's shapped like a bulletin pin. The icon is orange.

What does this icon mean?

I'd check the manual -- are you sure it's not a wireless antenna symbol ?
