I have a Canon EOS XTi and Windows Vista, 64 bit will not even recognize it. I tried going to Tool, Communication, but I don't have PTP, I have PAL.. does anyone know if there is anyway to get the photos to download from it?

Take your SD card out and read it through a card reader.
