Speech is either:

1) Text to speech, meaning that your computer talks
or
2) speech recognition meaning that you talk to the computer and it types
what you say, or you control
windows with your voice.

TEXT TO SPEECH
for simple text to speech function, windows has narrator
Start>all programs>accessories>accesability options>narrator

if you want a better program that can do more you can download

http://www.download.com/Natural-Te [...] ag=lst-0-2

The voices that come with XP may sound robotic, however there are others
from AT&T that
are closer to real humans talking. (but they are not free).

SPEECH RECOGNITION
For Speech recognition you must have officeXP or office 2003, and install
that option when installing office, or a program like DRAGON naturally
speaking. There are many others if you search on google.
Have in mind that these programs are not perfect yet, they make mistakes,
and are slow...
But they are worth the looking in to.

The truth is one, you must accept it. Reality is not a point of view, since
if everything was a point a view, then the theory that everything is a point
of view, is just a point a view and not something real.
