I wanted to buy a digital camera but i cannot decide which is better to buy canon or sony. When it comes to quality which is more durable and which has a good quality of pictures taken...please help me thankz - yaykz

I don't think that Canon IXUS 100is/ PowerShot SD780 IS vs. Sony dsc w300 is a fair comparizon. Sony would be my choice between the two.

Sony dsc w300 vs. Canon PowerShot SD880 IS/ IXUS 870 IS is more close in comparizon. This time Canon is my choice.

I believe Canon is best brand when it comes to Digital Cameras. Among Canon you can look for the New Canon 40D, Canon 400D, Canon 50D, Canon 450D.I would suggest you to read reviews on it. Have a look at http://www.checkcost.co.uk/digital-cameras/c/4368
