Mild (old) games to none. Hulu's pretty important though.

college, Microsoft Office, email, wireless internet, Hulu, pictures, music, an SD Card slot. Not too much intensive applications.

I think 160 GB (which is the usual minimum) is fine

It'll be great if theres a firewire slot, but it's not necessary. The portability aspect is most important so good wireless connectivity will be great.
