Using an MN-710 in wardriving beats an antenna equipped Orinoco Gold 3
to 1.

Cool effect, putting the USB adaptor on the car roof with a loop of
duct tape. The radio is right there at the base of the antenna and
sends data over the USB cable to a laptop running NetStumbler.

The old way, with an antenna on the roof, fed by 6 feet of coax to the
radio built in to a PCMCIA card, would suffer from the signal loss
from 6 feet of coax at extremely high frequency.

MN-710 was purchased at a Costco for just $30.
Also picked up a MN-700 for $40 - upgraded to 'G' all around at close
out price.

Great Stuff!!
