Ive been flirting with the thought of changing my good ol' beloved acer out with the apple

I live in Denmark and here the Macbook dont just cost a bit more but a lot more especially looking at the alternatives for instance a Dell XPS Studio.

But i Think macbooks just have that cool look and more performance than the parts would ever be able to promise for a PC,
and the stunning battery times (at the moment I can keep battery for about 30 minutes and i use it at school so its really anoying).

But i read many places on the internet, rumors about a new macbook in november with Nehalem/coreI7 processors and the way apple price their articles I can benefit from waiting half a year and get about twice performance for the same amount of money.

Does everybody agree with me.

But have anybody heard rumors about how many cores or what the possible clocking speed would be.
And what about GFX apple are probably not going with 9400m again. i would apreciate any kind of rumors people have read.
(and yes it is the 13" inch im going for its just a lot more pratical when going to school and when you at the same time just hate netbooks).

All apple computers use the same parts as PCs. There are no special performance parts in them. In fact, PCs carry far more performance parts.

What are you going to be doing with your computer? It's a rather waste to wait for high-performance parts and not use them.

Apple will probably replace the 9400 with the newer 120 series, which is just the same old mold from nvidia - there's nothing special about the cards. You'll find higher performing chipsets (like the 4870 and 280) on PCs.

However, what troubles me is that you want performance with a 13" notebook. This means, usually, you want a computer for internet and word processing. If you do those tasks on a $500 computer and a $10000 computer, you won't notice a difference.
