When I attempt to synch through IRDA my T3 -> Nokia 6310i, only one address
entry is synched.

Any way to get the whole lot down?

What I really have in mind is to dump the 6310i (on last legs, been serviced
once already), and try for a Symbian OS Sony Ericcson 910i, and keep it
synched with the T3.

I do not use Outlook or Lotus Notes, which the SE 910 apparently does synch
with.

I know another answer would be wait for the Treo 650 - any sign on the
horizon yet?

However at this stage would prefer the first (SE910i (910a in USA)) option.

T.I.A.

Why bother? The T3 can hold your address book and tell the phone to
dial numbers, why do you need the phone to mirror the address book?

What is the procedure to do that?

Ideally I would really like the new Treo 650! Any news when available?

Last week there was some info about it being ready for October... but that
maybe a bit optimistic.

One thing that's different about smartphones phones vs. standard PDA's is
that the wireless carriers usually insist on extremely long test cycles. I
guess they are worried about the phones crashing their networks or
something. Sprint seems to be pretty good about getting their testing done
quickly, but you never know how things can go. Look at Samsung, for example,
that has had new Palm OS smartphones available and approved by the FCC for
ages, but can't seem to get them on the shelves for consumers to buy.

Most likely it will be announced next month. Perhaps as early as Oct 1st.
Its hard to predict when the carriers will roll them out, though.
