Hello all I have a

Dell Inspiron 1525
Windows Vista Premium
Intel Pentinum Dual CPU T2330 @ 1.60ghz
1024MB Ram
Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family

now, I'm unsure of what ram is installed. I'd like to install 2gb of ram or possibly more if available. Here is what the ram stick says

512mb 2rx16 pc3 5300s-555-12

please help determine what kind of ram this is so i can check newegg, and tigerdirect for prices

I'm pretty sure that it would be SODIMM rather than DIMM so be careful of that. In case you didn't know SODIMM is the shorter version.

But can you install more than 1GB per slot, I was about to upgrade my bros laptop with spare RAM but it says no more than 1GB per slot. Will it make a difference if I put 2 GB in one of the slots?
