I'm considering selling my beefy Dell Inspiron E1705 laptop and do a complete 180 and get something thats portable rather than powerful (got my desktop for that).

Basically, whats your all favoirites in the ASUS EEE/MSI Wind/Acer Aspire One/HP Mininote/Dell E class of notebooks (did I even miss any? lol)?

I'm looking at the EEE 901,heres why

1. Atom processor (battery performance, plus it can OC to 1.8 in the new EEE's). Hoping to at least run some emulators on that thing if I would get it.

2. Improved Battery

3. the GMA 950 graphics chipset is slightly better than the (think its 945) in the older EEE's

4. Havent held any of them, but the 10 inch ones are starting to creap towards real laptop sized. I think I could go along with the 8.9 inch screen well. The 7's are definetely, too small.

5. I want SSDs,for battery life and well....it would be kewl to have a computer thats just composed of flash storage.

Tho from what I've read, the MSI Wind seems to be the best bang for your buck, but im not sure if they come with SSD's.

Also,I plan on getting a linux model (if the models give the Linux version a bigger harddrive),but install windows on it anyway (not a full blown version tho,one that has all the crap taken out). I want to try to install some older games on it.and I dont want to have to deal with linux honestly.
