Ok, here is the deal. My contract with sprint is finally over. I was going to re-sign for another 2 years and buy the htc touch pro 2. Then I found out about the HTC HD2 (codenamed "Leo" ) In my humble opinion, this is the nicest phone ever! Its got a gigantic capacitive screen, runs wm6.5, has a 1ghz processor etc. I am not a fan of T-mobile or AT&T but am willing to switch to any carrier in the United States (Verizon included) to get this phone.

Has anyone heard of a release date for this phone in the United States?

Does anyone know what carrier it will be going to?

I know the original HTC HD was never released here but supposedly the HD2 is on its way here!

I am fairly certain that it it going to be on T-Mobiles network but there is an andriod 2.0 version coming to verizon in december. It will be called the htc Passion (the verizon version)

I heard rumors that it would be going to T-Mobile UK (united kingdom) but I never heard anything about T-Mobile US. Have you?
