I want a fast processor so I have a choice between a quad core Q9000 running at 2GHz and a dual core T9900 3.06GHz, both have same fsb freqency and cetch size,,,what cpu whould be fastest?? Please help

depends what you are gonna use it for,
if it's for gaming, most likely the T9900 will be your best choice
if not I would say Q9000

Well since the difference is 1GHZ T9900 beats a Q9000 in almost every benchmark,it only loses when its a quad core optimized application

Quads are utlilized by alot of engineering, 3D, and vbideo editor applications which can use all four cores well. For this go with the Quad

Gaming is better with a really fast processor with a lot of cache. I'd go with the dual core for this, as it has more raw speed. And dual cores generally run slightly cooler
