Need help with Motorola v265!

Hi there, I have recently sent myself custom ring tones (mp3) and I'm having trouble saving them as ring tones. It only lets me save it as 1 of 2 categories, File or Phone Number. Once i save it as a file it puts it in my sounds folder and wont let me use it as a ring tone. Shouldn't I be able to save it as a ring tone in its own category?

I have looked at this thread and It didn't seem to answer my question. I'm simply having problems saving the mp3 file on my phone as a ringtone. It plays as a sound file on the phone perfectly.
