I was just wondering.....

Which of these would you dubbed as a real iPhone Killer

-The Palm Pre
-The HTC Touch HD
-The HTC Touch 2
-The LG Prada
-None of the Above or Other (Post phone's name)

To me I would pick the Palm Pre since I really think that it has the potential to actually outdo the iPhone. One problem that might prevent the Palm Pre from being a potential iPhone Killer is that there aren't so many applications designed exactly for it. When I say designed exactly for it I mean exactly not the previous Palm applications that require use through the Palm Pre Emulator. I mean like applications that make use of the accelerometer and the multi-touch screen. In the first few months the Palm Pre will probably not sell that well but as soon as developers develop apps for the Pre sales and popularity will boost up. One game that I really like from the iPhone is this racing game that allows you to turn by turning the whole iPhone itself. It makes use of the accelerometer. I think that was a pretty good idea. The Palm Pre also has a 3.2 Megapixel camera that takes pictures and records videos, Bluetooth 2.1, and some other nice stuff. The Palm Pre can multi-task which is a pretty nifty feature to me. It also is 3G compatible. I also like the wireless charging idea they did. Besides that features it has a sliding QWERTY keyboard. It also has Wi-Fi, a GPS receiver and other stuff as well.

There is also an upcoming Palm touch phone called the Palm ZEN coming out in December 2009 to around 2010. It features all the features of the Palm Pre plus more like Multi hover-touch and an HDMI port. A 1.2GHz processor powered by the NVIDIA Tegra HD platform. It has a 4.5-inch 720p HD screen. The screen is actually 1024x768 but they will market it as 720p HD. It also features two six-axis accelerometers. Besides those features it will be available in sizes from 32GB to 96GB and expandable memory using the multi-media card reader that is compatible with SDHC, Memory Stick PRO, CompactFlash, and xD. It will also be 4G compatible and have a 8 Megapixel camera on the back and a 5 Megapixel camera in the front for 4G Video Calling. They will also start the 4G HD Video Calling marketing capable of video calling other people at resolutions up to pure 1080p HD depending on what the receiver's camera quality is and wheter it is compatible. Other features include Bluetooth 3.0, Infrared, and a Wireless N Wi-Fi adapter plus a GPS satellite receiver (That's in the Palm Pre too)

I think once Nokia gets it act together (that could be an if unfortunately), they'll come out with an iPhone killer.

Regarding the Pre, I wouldn't worry about the apps part. I think Palm's appeal to developers is still there, and we could see the same passion that created over 50k apps (right?) for the old Palm OS.

Nice info on the Palm ZEN, what's the source?

Well HTC TOUCH HD and TOUCH Diamond 2 both have a better Camera + better screen resolution that iPHONE but they use Winmo OS which not some users like, the main thing that makes iphone special is its OS + multitouch capabilities.

LG has recently launched a new phone called KM900 ARENA which supports multitouch and has a great user interface, here are the links of its review:

HTC Touch HD is too similar at the iPhone, but integrates a Windows Mobile SO --> the HTC is the iPhone killer, because it is full customizable.
