I've got an old Presario 2570us with the Conexant audio drivers. I've checked all volume settings and updated the drivers....the speakers still don't work. If I plug headphones into the jack, I can hear the sound initially crackle so it leads me to think that the hardware is working (I think). I checked the BIOS and there are no settings for anything audio. Any ideas?
