hi i have a lg2000 fido phone and when i turn it on it says phone restricted i hit cancel and then it says restriction code any way to fix it

Because you're trying to either use a SIM card from another carrier or a de-activated SIM card.

so some research online the answers are there, not here.

no it a fido lg 2000 phone and a fido sim card and it was activated just a day a go

And so calling Fido for help is out of the question?

If it's a legit SIM on a legit phone, Fido/Rogers will fix it.

Seems strange you wouldn't go there first.
