Hi all. I'm looking for XP 64 drivers for Dell Inspiron 1501 (Turion 64). Official site has a choice of only XP and Vista both 32. Thanks.

Look up each component from each of it's manufacturers directly. Only other option.
I don't know why you would choose XP 64 over Vista 64.

Thanks.
'Bout Vista over XP - on this laptop, for its purpose XP is enough.

XP X64 really doesn't have the greatest driver support - Vista is far better for 64 bit. XP may be "enough," but Vista will be a lot less of a pain.

Unless you can find all the drivers for XP 64, and your hardware can't support vista, I would go with Vista x64.

Agreed. XP 64bit is always risky when it comes to finding all the drivers you may need. If the option exists, go the route of Vista 64bit.

Thanx for the replies. I've desided to stay with XP 32. And besides that I've installed UBUNTU 64 for desktop (didn't require any additional drivers though). Everything works fine and I'm seriously wondering whether to migrate all the office computers to UBUNTU. Surely it seems enough for ofice purposes (document processing, charts etc.).

Once again - thanks for the replies.
