What should i get T7500 ( 2.2mhz/4MB L2 cache/800fsb/65nm) or the T8100 (2.1mhz/3Mb L2 Cache/800FSB/45nm)

They are about the same in price for the laptop I am trying to build.(T8100 is $10 more)

T7500 is a little faster but the difference isn't much,if u care about battery life then go for T8100,it has better battery life (because its a 45nm CPU)

The performance difference will actually be pretty negligible. Clock for clock the Penryns are a little faster due to new enhancements, so the 100mhz difference won't be much of a difference at all. I agree about the battery life though.

I have a T8100, my cousin has a T7500. He has an HP with an 8600m gt with extended battery, me a sager with an 8800m gtx, so battery life is kinda hard to compare - however, in cpu tasks, both of them finish pretty much on par with each other.
