Hi,

Can anyone advise me as to the best laptop (small net book) to buy with a sim card slot (when not in range of a conventional network i.e. Wi-Fi)

I haven't seen one yet here in North America but we use a unit what's called Mobile Broadband Internet Access card or mobile broadband card.
