I recently obtained a bluetooth dongle. IT did not how ever come with any software. its just a small m100 bluetooth dongle. generic of course. I plugged it in and i am able to transfer files to and from my phone. also i am able to connect my bluetooth headset. BUT! i am unable to use it. "My Bluetooth Places" is missing. it never was installed apparently. BTW i just reformatted my laptop. with windows Xp. and i have sp3. OH and the registry for it is also missing so i am clueless as what to do from here.
