Hi I wanted to thank you all for reading and wanted to give some feedback on the posts.

I was amazed that so many post were on the small section of virus, spyware and such verse the rest of the article. UNIX has been under attack since before Microsoft was created so perhaps one of the advantages that OS X has by going with BSD is that while they have problems there is a different basic philosophy on how applications work and have access in UNIX based systems that helps protect them. Plus there are a lot of Websites that have been attack very creatively that run UNIX/Linux systems running apache and they have never been affected as much as the windows systems running IIS. So no OS is bullet proof but windows Vista is more like UNIX permissions that XP and it is to try to make it more secure.

Parallels for Mac is a nice VM product and maybe that could be a future subject but it is not yet running natively (read about true virtual PCs using the new AMD and Intel hardware soon) on the PC and that introduces another layer to running applications and using a PC to its fullest.

I actually hoped that they would release a version of OS X for regular PC, which if you want the truth is what an Apple is , just a regular PC with a different BIOS as stated in the article but they have yet to do it and OS X is a very good GUI on BSD so that is why, plus laptops are different that desktops and to get similar hardware you would spend about the same, yes a little less but about the same
