Surprise, surprise! Cell phone based TV is not just for 18 year olds. Its primetime isn\'t 8-11 pm. Its demographics might shock you. And guess where nearly a quarter of mobile TV viewing is done?

Now, THAT would be awesome. How would that be set up? You would need either a really good wireless setup, a really big hard drive, or an ethernet connection.

last article i saw in the wallstreet journal was that video on demand services on cellphones were actually in very low demand. less than 1%, people just aren't willing to pay what they want for watching videos on tiny screens. people are already a bit tired of the cellphone companies dinging them for this and for that on their bills which can be rather mysterious to begin with. breeds caution with new features. and well its just not compelling to me, i just don't see them ever selling it for a price worth bothering with. tv at home is free. and the cellphone companies already charge absurd amounts for a few bytes of info in text messages and such. plus i don't think they can handle everyone playing tv on their cellphones, i don't think they have that kind of bandwidth.

Yes, I agree...

The video requirements for vide3 phones will always be for the young (good eyes ya know), but the larger business will be plain service for the generation over 40. Yes, the larger sells may well be to the younger genreration, but don't forget that a major service still belongs to the elders.
