I must not have been paying attention when I bought my 6700-I never noticed that the earphone connector is 3/32" instead of 1/8". I got an adapter & it works, sort of, but it seems that there's a problem because the standard headset includes a microphone & has 4 sections while the adapter (and my MP3 patch cords) are strictly stereo & only have 3 sections.

I found that some do work if the plug isn't fully inserted into the adapter so I think it's a matter of the appropriate sections lining up-but I *hate* Mickey Mouse workarounds. Does anyone know of an adapter that will truly support using this as an MP3 player? (I have no problem with the idea of unplugging the listening device to answer the phone. An adapter that included a microphone, or even had separate connections for a microphone & a listening device, would be ideal but I don't expect to find that.)

Thanks.
