I have an LG PM 325 phone with Jabra FreeSpeak 250. The phone searches for
this device but doesn't find it. I also have a Logitech Freedom headset.
The same thing is happening here. The weird part is that I did pair the
Logitech about two weeks ago and have been using it since. I erased it
today because I figured it was interfering with the Jabra device. Now I
can't pair either. I can search and find my laptop though.
Any ideas? Bluetooth is enabled on the phone. The devices are turned off.
Thanks,
Brett

Are you sure the phone isn't set to "hide" itself on the air? I mean,
yeah, BT is on, but if I recall BT correctly, there's also a setting
about whether to make the phone discoverable or not. I can DL the user
guide if you need more help on that. You might also want to check out
alt.cellular.bluetooth. They might have some more information there.

I called Sprint yesterday evening they pointed out my problem. The headset
wasn't set in pairing mode. The headset does have to be turned off but then
you have to put it in pairing mode. After that, all was fine.
Setting the phone's BT visibility won't help in pairing with a headset. The
headset won't try to find your phone. It's the other way around.
Thanks,
Brett
